How long does it take to do the IELTS test?
IELTS has four parts – Listening (30 minutes), Reading (60 minutes), Writing (60 minutes) and Speaking (11–14 minutes). The total test time is 2 hours and 45 minutes. The Listening, Reading and Writing tests are done in one sitting.
Is IELTS valid for 3 years now?
The IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) is valid for two years. At present, IELTS score is valid for a three year period for Australian General Skilled Migration (GSM) applications.

Students who would like to visit the university should check the list of visiting dates on our website to select convenient date. Please remember that we need at least two week’s notice to arrange your visit. If you have problems completing the online booking form, you may send a copy to us by post, fax, or an e-mail attachment. You will be asked to choose two possible visiting dates. In this way, if booking for your first choice exceeds a certain level, the university will offer you an alternative date stated on your booking form. On the day of your visit, perspective students should arrive at the university between 9 and 9.15am. Please go directly to the main library building. Students are encouraged to attend with their parents. Although two guests is the normal limit, you may bring an extra person if you inform us in writing beforehand. On our busier visiting days, guests and parents will unfortunately be unable to visit academic departments.
Practice IELTS listening exercises more and more to improve your listening skills. On the real test, you will hear the recording only once and listening questions get increasingly difficult.
Practising different types of listening questions separately will help you to develop yourself with specific techniques for that kind of questions in the IELTS listening test.
